GBP symbol problem

If I give a field a caption of "Total Owed £"
then the resulting display inserts an extra character in front of the £ sign. In my case an upper case A with an accent over the top.

Any ideas??

Did you use just the £ sign? In that case you might try changing it in the HTML for the sign: &#163
