TIME shows 41779.5909491 instead 2014/01/08 00:00:00 and i can't find what is wrong...any clue?

This is not timestamp. Debug the page that display this value by echo out this field, $this-><field>->CurrentValue and check your server event to see if you have changed the display value, $this-><field>->ViewValue

Make sure that you have set up default date format and set up the [Date/Time named format] for the field.
