Custom Template with Detail Preview

Is there a way to ensure that "child" records are correctly displayed within the "parent" list/grid after I've set up custom list page templates for the parent table?

Currently, the child records are always displayed at the bottom of the grid (unfortunately, not immediately below the parent row) when I click the "+" button of the parent row. Also, the "child" records continue to be displayed even when I click the "-" button of the parent row.

I'm using PHPMaker version 11.0.5.

Note that Custom Template does NOT support Detail grid in Master/Detail-Add/Edit/View.
