There is no "quick search panel icon", if you meant the "search" icon for the Extended Search Panel, you need to disable Extended Search for the table.
Search panel icon continues to appear.

I don't want the search panel icon to appear. I just want the advanced search icon to appear. Although my settings are fine, the search panel icon continues to appear.
I couldn't solve the problem but I found the reason.
If the filter option is selected in the table > fields settings, the "search panel" icon continues to appear. It didn't appear when I deselected the filter.
Please download the latest template (Tools -> Update Template) and try again.
