You may want to elaborate on your question. What was the problem you encountered? (en-US and en-VC are English language for two different regions.)
When searching en-US it appears but the ID is en-VC
and so with other languages
I still don't quite understand what you meant.
If you meant you don't see "en-US", note that the dropdown is scrollable, use mouse wheel to scroll and select.
If you meant you selected "en-US" but you see locale settings for "en-VC", you might have changed and saved the settings previously, press the "Reset" button to reset.
If you meant otherwise, you may want to explain in detail.
What I mean is that when selecting en-US the id of en-VC appears

Settings have not been changed
and does not allow reset
You may change the id to en-US, after that, click on Reset button.
